The Bridge that built a city?

Planned and eventually built during a crucial period in American and New York City History the Triboro Bridge (now called the “RFK Bridge”) had a tremendous and lasting impact on the development of New York City’s 5 boroughs.  The development and building of the bridge was handled by the Triborough Bridge Authority.  For better or worse the iconic Robert Moses used his position with the authority to help fund and build his vision for New York City and surrounding areas at the dawn of the age of the automobile.  Moses and his vision has had a dramatic and lasting impact on New York City and Long Island that will likely be felt for many years to come.
